Turn a surplus stack into an intelligible offer

The most useful pallet offer tells a recipient what exists, what is uncertain and what the collection involves.

Describe what you know

Give the number of pieces, footprints, visible construction and condition groups. Say when the count is an estimate. If the batch is ongoing, distinguish today’s stock from a possible future stream.

Expose the constraints

State collection windows, loading equipment, access conditions and whether the recipient must collect the whole lot. Keep the exact private collection instructions for the agreed parties rather than posting them in a public note.

Avoid unsupported claims

Do not advertise a load rating, sanitary status, food suitability or export compliance without the evidence needed to support it. An honest description prevents the wrong receiver from planning around an assumption.

Keep these details together

  • Count and sizes
  • Honest condition notes
  • Collection window
  • Evidence for any special claims
